Sharing a Nanny
Sharing a nanny between two or more employers is not as difficult as you may think. This is only possible, due to HMRC current procedures, if both employers are registered with our service.
Splitting the Tax Code
Splitting the tax code between 2 or more employers works very well when each employer agree a net pay salary and can be easily and accurately calculated.
Calculating the Cost to Each Employer
A simple spread sheet detailing the cost to each employer and the savings by each employer is sent to each client.
Looking After the Nanny’s Tax Code
As we manage the share for the employer, we will also manage the Nanny’s tax split. We will offer advice on how best to ensure there are no under payments or over payments of tax should the nanny leave a share part way through a tax year.

Electronic Filing and Tax Free Incentive
We will file your annual tax return electronically with HMRC and claim back the Free incentive payment. 2006/07 £150, 2007/08 £100, 2008/09 £75
Lower Fee’s for Sharers
Our Annual Fee for a monthly payroll is £180 inclusive of VAT. If in a share and our services are used by both or more of the employers then our Fee’s are £150 per employer. For a weekly service annual fee is £250 If in a share and both or more of the employers use our services then our Fee’s are £220 per employer.
